15 Excellent American Made Sandal Brands

By Matt Mullins  updated September 6, 2023

If you’re looking for what sandals are made in the USA then you’ve come to the right place. I’ve researched and compiled this alphabetical list of men’s and women’s American made sandals both to help you find great sandals and help spotlight our local gear makers including a couple of my personal favorites, Bedrock Sandals and Okabashi.

Bedrock Sandals

Bedrock is quickly becoming a go to adventure sandal brand. They’ve also become my personal favorites. The Bedrock classic line is made Montana, while the Cairn line is assembled in the USA with imported materials. I didn’t expect the ultra-simple Cairn sandals to be so secure and comfortable but they actually rival my old Chacos while being significantly lighter. Their rugged vibram soles grip terrain well. I wore nothing but these sandals for 3 weeks in Thailand and was glad that I didn’t take any other footwear. Where to find them:

Chaco Sandals

These are the original classic river running and adventure sandals. Chaco offers a cool personally customized line of sandals that are still made in Rockford, MI, USA. However, the majority of Chacos are now made overseas. Where to find them:
