How Much of Each Car, Truck, & SUV is Made in the USA?

Fortunately, the American Automobile Labelling Act delivers a cool report every year that makes it easy to see just what percentage of each vehicle is made with U.S./Canadian parts. The reports break down the percentage according to vehicle manufacturer and year. In addition to the percentage, you can find the country of origin for the engine, transmission, and see where the final assembly took place. The results might surprise you. Some "Japanese" brands like Honda may contain more American-made parts and assembly for certain vehicles than stereotypically American brands like Ford and Chevy. For example, my 2009 4WD Nissan Xterra (pictured below) is more American made than a Jeep Wrangler or Dodge Ram produced in the same year.
